Making Time

Remember Friendly Felt??
All those fantastic projects we created using it last year? Well, it's back, not that it ever left I still have some knocking around in my stash and when some smaller pieces popped up in the ScrapJunkie Kit : September 08 - 'Can You Feel It?' it made want to dig it out and play with all 14 colours again!!

I used a large piece of the Baby Pink felt for the clock stand, just folded into triangular shape so it was free-standing, I cut out a 12 petalled flower shape from the Fuschia felt and added some blossoms and a yellow felt centre. I punched a hole right through all the layers and added my clock mechanism, these can be bought ready-to-use over the internet but to be honest, it is probably easier and cheaper to buy an old clock from a charity shop and dismantle it, just make sure you remember the order of the parts to put it back together again! I punched three holes along the top and tied the top together with some American Crafts ribbon from the pound stop, so when I need to change the battery I can just untie it!
